Appointment Advocacy Package · $450 + travel (prep, attendance, written debrief)

Never walk out of an appointment unsure of what just happened

Important appointments deserve more than fifteen rushed minutes and a printed after-visit summary. This is a three-part package: I prepare you in advance, attend in person or by phone when appropriate, and send a plain-language written debrief afterward. Your healthcare team welcomes independent advocates by your side — I travel directly to your appointments to support you in person, with a distance-based fee to cover travel time; virtual sessions have no travel fee. See the full pricing page for details.

Before the appointment

I review the reason for the visit, your medical history, current medications, and what you most need to understand or decide. We agree on the questions that must be asked and the outcomes you are hoping for.

During the appointment

When appropriate, I attend with you — in person in Marin County and Petaluma or by phone or video anywhere. I listen with a clinical ear, ask the questions that get to the heart of the decision, and make sure the recommended plan is actually clear before the visit ends.

After the appointment

I send you a written summary in plain language: what was discussed, what was decided, what you need to do, and what is being scheduled. The family stays in the loop without anyone repeating the conversation five times.

What I do for clients

  • Pre-visit planning and a written list of priority questions
  • In-person, phone, or video attendance at the appointment
  • Real-time clarification of medical terms and recommendations
  • Plain-language written summary sent within 24 hours
  • Follow-up on every action item from the visit

Common Questions

Questions families often search for

Yes. I attend medical appointments with clients in person throughout Marin County and Petaluma, and by phone or video for clients anywhere. My role is to listen, clarify, and make sure the plan you leave with is actually the plan you understand.

An updated medication list, recent imaging and lab results, a written list of your top three questions, and someone who can listen with you. When I attend, I bring all of that preparation already organized.

Start with the one decision the visit needs to produce — a diagnosis, a treatment choice, a referral. Build the questions backward from there. I help families do exactly this before every important appointment.
