A private nurse advocate based in Marin County

Marin County is my home base and the heart of my practice. I provide in-person patient advocacy and home visits throughout Marin — from Sausalito and Mill Valley in the south to Novato in the north — and routinely coordinate care across MarinHealth Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente San Rafael, Sutter Health Novato, and Bay Area specialists at UCSF and Stanford. Many of my clients are adults navigating a complex diagnosis, families managing a parent's changing health, or long-distance adult children who need a trusted local nurse on the ground.

I provide in-person patient advocacy throughout Novato, including home visits and accompaniment to appointments at Sutter Health Novato Medical Center, the Kaiser Permanente Novato campus, and primary care practices along Rowland Boulevard and Grant Avenue. Novato families often hire me when an aging parent's care begins involving multiple specialists or when a recent hospital stay leaves the family unsure of the plan moving forward.

San Rafael is home to MarinHealth Medical Center, the county's largest hospital, and Kaiser Permanente San Rafael. I regularly attend appointments, coordinate hospital discharges, and support families through complex care across both systems. Whether you live in downtown San Rafael, Terra Linda, Lucas Valley, or the Canal neighborhood, I can be there in person on short notice for the moments that matter most.

I provide patient advocacy throughout Mill Valley, including home visits in Tam Valley, Strawberry, and central Mill Valley. Many Mill Valley clients see specialists across MarinHealth, Kaiser, and UCSF in San Francisco — exactly the kind of multi-system, multi-specialist coordination that benefits most from a single private nurse holding the full picture.

Greenbrae is steps from the MarinHealth Medical Center campus, the hub of specialty and hospital care for central Marin. I attend appointments at MarinHealth, support hospital admissions and discharges on campus, and provide home-based advocacy for Greenbrae and Kentfield clients managing complex or progressive conditions.

Petaluma is the second in-person community I serve from my Marin base. I provide home visits and appointment support throughout Petaluma, and regularly coordinate care between Petaluma Valley Hospital, Kaiser Permanente Petaluma, and Marin specialists. Petaluma families often appreciate having a local nurse who already knows the providers and the rhythm of the regional health systems.

Virtual patient advocacy lets me support patients and families well beyond Marin and Petaluma. By phone and video I attend appointments, reconcile medications, prepare families for hospital discharge, translate complex diagnoses, and serve as the clinical point of contact between specialists — with the same structure and clinical attention I use in person. Virtual advocacy is especially common for adult children supporting a parent from another state, and for patients receiving specialty care across multiple health systems.
